On March 14th, 2026, A Romantic Adventure hosted NZ's first romance exclusive reader event, in Christchurch. With 100 romance authors and vendors from NZ and around the world in attendance, readers were able to meet and greet some of their favourite authors, discover new books and purchase signed special editions and bookish merchandise.​​

JL Skye and Layla Pine, the author duo behind A Romantic Adventure, are working hard to bring you more excitement, with a boutique event planned for Launceston, Tasmania in 2027, as well as another world class NZ event in 2028—this time heading to the North Island and Auckland!
